Series 2 (March 27 & April 17) - 2 sessions

 When her daughter was 7 years old, Beth taught her an approach to mental imagery similar to play, in lieu of taking medication – ever since she’s used imagery as medicine. Today at 17, she not only creates her own imagery exercises for mental, emotional and physical health-but also enjoys sharing her expertise with friends. In this workshop participants will be taught simple steps on how to “play” with children while teaching them a valuable skill. A demonstration will be given, then participants will have an opportunity to practice and discover, taking turns in both adult and children’s roles as we explore the fun and spontaneity of imagery work as play.

 Beth deFuria, M.P.S. Is an art therapist who utilizes imagery in her work. She has studied the western therapeutic healing tradition with Dr. Epstein at AIMI for many years.
