Imagery Exercise: For Secrets that are Gnawing at You
Intention:To Forgive Yourself
- Sit up in a chair, hands in the arms of the chair or in your lap palms down.
- Close your eyes and breathe out a long slow exhalation through the mouth.
- Confess five errors in your life you have been aware of.
- Afterward breathe out one slow long exhalation
- Ask God or your inner source of wisdom to forgive you until you are satisfied within yourself that you have forgiven yourself. Know this to be true without doubt.
- Breathe out once, and open your eyes.
Do this imagery exercise for several seconds to 30 seconds, every morning and upon going to sleep for seven days.
